Stewart Gatsi is an international singer, songwriter, and recording artiste. Stewart has written and released two full length projects. The first, ‘The Telling Truth’ was released in 2010, with the second and most recent ‘Songs On My Bike’ in January 2019.
Born in Harare, Zimbabwe his musical journey and passion for the craft, has taken him on tours to Hong Kong, Singapore, The U.S (Philadelphia, Atlanta, Seattle & Richland, WA, Eugene-Oregon, New York City), Vietnam, Malaysia, Cambodia, South Africa and Zimbabwe.
His alternative musical taste, which he terms New Age Alternative blends a kaleidoscope of musical styles, driven by an appreciation for alternative rock, soul, and classical pop. His approach to songwriting is blunt, yet thoughtfully crafted and layered in imagery. His ability to also sing in Shona (Zimbabwe), as well as English, adds an entirely different dimension to what’s already a dynamic, crisp and soulful vocal range.
