A Swiss musical trio who were part of the Kleinkunst (or "small stage art") scene, Stiller Has (German for "silent hare") became an underground success in the German-speaking regions of their home country, and released many hit albums in their 30-plus-year career. Founded in 1989 in Bern, the group performed pieces in Bernese German meant for the middle and lower classes, and won critical acclaim all over Switzerland. Their 2007 compilation Zwanzig Goldige Hasensongs made the Swiss charts, peaking at number 29. Lead singer and songwriter Endo Anaconda died on February 2, 2022, at the age of 66. ~ Chris True, Rovi
