STILLZ has long been a visual architect of modern music—shaping how the world sees sound through his iconic videos and timeless imagery. His work doesn’t just document culture; it bends it. Known for his surreal eye and raw emotional lens, STILLZ has helped define the visual identity of some of the greatest artists alive, including Bad Bunny, Rosalía, & Arca.

But while the world watched the visuals, something else was quietly unfolding. Since 2022, on long, solitary trips through Japan, STILLZ began building soundscapes in secret—recording, experimenting, absorbing the quiet intensity of temples, trains, cities, and shadows. The result is Separated at Birth—a deeply personal ambient and experimental collaboration with Yuki Chiba, the Japanese rapper known for his lyrical edge, here stepping into an entirely different kind of expression.

The project was born not in a studio, but in a connection—two artists from different worlds who met and immediately felt like they had always known each other. Separated at Birth is the sound of that feeling: atmospheric, dreamlike, and raw. It’s emotional music without a script—built from instinct, memory, and the unspoken understanding between two souls creating something they couldn’t explain, only feel.

At its center is the track “流れる”, accompanied by a music film that explores life, death, and the quiet beauty found in both—a haunting visual ritual that extends the emotion beyond sound. STILLZ is still directing—but now, through music.
