Stints

STINTS is a band from San Diego, California. Founded by Rubén Agúndez (Vocals), Elí Ponce Gastelum (Percussion/Production), Gerardo Zuñiga (Bass), José Brambila (Guitar), Ernesto Vásquez (Guitar), and Waldo Cruz (Synths), the six founding members collaborate equally in the composition of their distinctive dream-pop melodies with hypnotic orchestral mash-ups.

Founded in 2018, the band’s first releases:19 (single), Restless Feeling (b-side), and Same Thoughts, Same Words, Same Feelings (single), disrupted the underground indie scene on both sides of the US/Mexican border. Ever-evolving and exploring, Stints invites their cult following into dark textures with their music videos that flirt with disturbing nostalgia.

Stints is perfectly positioned to emerge as the most influential neo-psychedelic indie band on both sides of the border. With a full album release planned in addition to touring both in the US and Mexico, 2020 will mark an epic year of creative fury for Stints.
