Born and raised in the City of Opa Locka, Benjamin Cobbin aka Stixx had a promising future as an all around athlete until he lost his older brother at the age of 14 to gun violence. Being raised by a single mother and grandparents, Stixx found another alternative to expressingly share his pain of losing his brother through music. Pouring out his heart and feelings on paper inspired not only himself but those around him. For Stixx, music became a coping mechanism for the challenges he faced growing up. What turned out to be a source of expression turned into a sound that many millennials could relate to. His captivating, high-energy performances transport audiences back in time to rise above the negative and chase what really matters! In 2015, Stixx's determination and optimism landed him in the hands of a local management company Since99. With the help of his manager D'shawn Ruffin, aka Freaky Stixx elevated his sound and became, blending musicianship, creativity and tradition in his song. It didn't take long for his career to take off to show the world that he would, “ Give my all or give nothing at all!” Stixx was determined to evolve even further in his career. In November of 2021 Stixx was signed to Fuzion House Music label. Stixx has released two singles Mixed Emotions and Mesmerized, and more to come.
