Stoll consists of four experienced musicians, who together provides a wide sonic palette. The band has spent five years honing their sound, and are eager to release these seven tracks into the world!

Their music can best be described as a curated blend of various americana, mixed in with both American primitive guitar, desert blues, afro-funk, reggae and post-rock.

This album is all instrumental with the guitar as the leading melodic element, inspired by greats of the past like John Fahey, as well as current artists like William Tyler and Blake Mills. These seven songs have their initial beginnings from Storrøsten’s characteristic compositions, before being disassembled and again reassembled by the rest of the band, whilst maintaining focus on the original idea.

Some people describe the music as evoking images of open landscapes, others that it gives a cinematic feel. Commonly, Stoll’s music seems to allow people to create their own images and associations.
