Since 2009, Stoned Jesus has served as one of Europe’s leading forces in heavy rock. Ukraine-born Igor Sydorenko started it as a solo project after coming up with some heavy and slow riffs inspired by not only Electric Wizard and Sleep, but also by King Crimson and Led Zeppelin. With the always-on-the-road power trio live lineup Igor wrote and released a number of albums with Stoned Jesus, including doom metal debut First Communion (2010), now-legendary psychedelic rock classic Seven Thunders Roar (2012) and its heavier and more progressive follow-up, The Harvest (2015). After wrapping the set of dates in support of dark and experimental Pilgrims (2018) the band embarked on their Xth Anniversary Tour, only to be stopped by the global unprecedentedness of 2020. Father Light (2023) was a welcoming return to their classic "doom prog" sound, with even more ambitious The Songs Trilogy to follow.

Songs To Sun (2025), Songs To Moon (2026) and Songs To Earth (2027) encapsulate all different phases of Stoned Jesus. Songs to Sun is epic and heavy but never formulaic, with nods to Seven Thunders Roar and The Harvest appearing throughout. The album reflects the unstable ground that Sydorenko navigated once the band's previous lineup dissolved. But whether shrouded by depression, amidst a break-up or the grind of tour life, Stoned Jesus are guided by the spirit of innovation - on Songs to Sun, Stoned Jesus set their heavy progressive rock to stun
