Storm Goring

Storm Goring is an emerging hip hop artist of Guyanese descent. He was raised by his strong and independent mother who introduced him to the rhythms of Soca and Calypso music as well as the R & B sounds that influence his material.

He spent some of his early years in Toronto where he witnessed the dangers of going down the wrong path. As a teenager, Storm was encouraged by his friend Dan Flannery to begin writing. His verses became an outlet for dealing with feelings about life and his absentee father. A few years later, he had the opportunity to open for Corde Broadus at an Ottawa show. The positive feedback that his performance received was the affirmation he needed to continue pursuing a career in music.

In 2017, Storm relocated to Vancouver, BC where he continues to build a following. Beneath his quiet, unassuming exterior lies a talented and dynamic performer with a great ability to connect with his audience. For Storm, music is simply the first step in a career that he hope’s will also include writing and acting.
