StR8GUttA's music is golden era hiphop at it's finest from Boom bap to G-funk,Trap and back again. Working alongside the man himself Chubbs over at Soundproof Studios and the infamous Nato at Up In Arms Studios, it is safe to say the quality speaks for itself.
BACKROUND
StR8 GUttA signed to Tuff House records at the age of eighteen. Gutta would go on to feature on Tuff house artist Reason's debut album giving way to radio and television appearances and a national tour. Gutta also appeared on the compilation called the Outbreak,this would be the first time we heard the ground breaking single from Gutta known as Last In Line
Shortly after that, Tuff House and Str8 Gutta parted ways.
INFLUENCES
Just listening to Gutta's lyrics and seeing him move a crowd is enough to know he is Wutang at his core making several references to the iconic group of Mc's in his catalog naming them as the foundation for his skill set which eventually led to multiple collaborations between himself and the Gods.
HIGHLIGHTS
After releasing his debut album, Last In Line Gutta would go on to headline the LSD tour with Doomsquad nationwide. Gutta would also be nominated for an EMA in the category of best rap song for the hit single Chillin Wit a Bawse. Apart from that, Gutta maintains building with the Wu-tang Clan has been no less than a black belt test and by far the the best thing to ever happen in his career.
