Strakelin is a metal / heavy rock band from Brest, Brittany.
Formed in 2011, the band released its first EP Escaping Sheeple Nation in 2016, with scottish singer Douglas Hinton, who left in 2017 to concentrate on other projects.
Strakelin then released Kafkaesque Phobia in 2018, another 6-track EP with new singer Rico, whose screamy voice gives the band an extra hardcore touch.
2023 marks Strakelin's return with the release of "A Purpose For Violence": 25 minutes of a heavy and fat mix of metal, hardcore and alt-rock!
