Strange Attractor

Strange Attractor has been building their sound and honing their craft in the warehouses, clubs, and festivals of the Baltimore DIY music scene since 2015. Self-described as “Journey Music,” their long-awaited first album, “Terra Incognita,” was released 11/22/2021. ‘Terra Incognita’ translates from Latin to ‘uncharted territory.’ The diverse breadth of influence and the fusion of genres, the progressive arrangements and the many-layered vocal harmonies take the listener on a journey. Strange Attractor has a sound that blends the masculine and feminine voice, and dances across orchestral psychedelic lines. Their high-grade musicianship and the balance of cognitive and corporeal engagement guide listeners through many phases of emotion, color, and lyrical themes of self-discovery, impermanence, paradox, and elemental connection.
