After moving from his hometown of Chattanooga, TN, to Nashville, guitarist/vocalist Luke Brown began to write songs and developed a vision for the rock band of his dreams that would eventually become Strange Celebrity. With New Jersey drummer Rick Wilson, guitarist Quinton Gibson, and bassist Tracy Ferrie, Strange Celebrity was born and work began on the group's debut album with producer Dan Wilde of the Rembrandts. Released in June 2003, Remedy focused on radio-friendly rock with lyrics that were often intimate and inspirational. Strange Celebrity is not marketed as a CCM rock group, but the bandmembers do recognize their spiritual side and lightly incorporate it into their music. ~ Aaron Latham, Rovi
