Strange Frequency es un dúo de músicos/productores que nace en 2017, formado por Xavier García (Bajo, Voz, Synth) y AZZURRO Sergi Marrone (Guitarra, Voz, Synth), establecidos en Barcelona. Su estilo es muy personal, pero se podría clasificar como Indie Pop, integrando groove del funk y elementos electrónicos del syntpop, o simplemente que tienen una maquina del tiempo, viajan a los '80 y vuelven con ideas frescas.
Actualmente estan lanzando su primer disco "unfindemas" junto a Conttra, dónde ambas bandas exploran nuevos sonidos, más organicos, con extra de groove, junto al músico barcelonés.
Strange Frequency is formed by a powerful duo of musicians/producers from Spain and Ecuador. The Barcelona-based band consists of Sergi Marrone (vocals, synth and guitar) and Xavi Garcia (vocals, synth and bass) and together they are the ones responsible for collecting the strangest frequencies around us.
Their authentic style is influenced by modern indie disco bands like Parcels and old fashioned electronic such as Daft Punk. Their self-produced tunes evoke a sweet mix of the old groovy days of the 80s funk and the exciting new days of synth pop.
Strange Frequency is currently performing constantly in the growing indie scene from Barcelona.
