His tuneful Power Pop stylings have been compared to Teenage Fanclub, Big Star, and Elvis Costello.
In 2020 Melatonin Doomsday Blues was listed in Aquarium Drunkard’s Year In Review.
In an earlier life he and his former bands Mistletoe, and Cherry Tempo shared the stage with folks like Beirut, Superdrag, and The Breeders to name a few.
Last year Romero set out to write and record one new song per week which has led to 2023 expecting 4 full-length releases and the debut of a real live act.
