BBC Introducing Artist 2022

In February 2022 A1(M) Records reviewed our latest release saying “one of the best voices we’ve heard for a while – perfect indie pop harmony – a band with a big future”.

Stratton 5 are an indie rock band from Hertfordshire, UK, and formed in 2019. This aspiring group are currently finishing recording tracks for their self-produced first album, taking inspiration from all types of rock genres. They have a distinctive and original sound with music and lyrics that belie their youth. The band is fronted by a distinctive female vocal lead, supported by proficient musical interplay between guitars and keyboards. Their style captures the best of indie rock, indie pop and blues rock.

In March 2022 they were selected for airplay on BBC Introducing (BBC Introducing East). Since their first release in 2020 they were nominated by Radio Wigwam for best band, and also had airplay and interview on commercial radio (Radio Verulam, St Albans).
