Stress Nada

A duo of artists with influences in funk, reggae, rock and hip-hop comprise the exhilarating sound of the band STRESS NADA.

Santa Cruz’s Alternative-Funk band STRESS NADA is set to deliver feel-good music, with thoughtful and interesting lyrics.

STRESS NADA is: Scorpz – songwriter, lead vocals, acoustic guitar | Fury – producer, bass guitar, drums/percussion, backup vocals.

The movement to build STRESS NADA began in 2018, as an experiment to move outside the Hip-Hop zone. Veteran emcee, and experienced guitar player in his own right, Scorpz the Venom had an idea for a Cali-Roots type song he was writing just for fun. While he was stepping outside of his box, he knew that Fury Figeroa, a fellow artist and talented musician was just the producer he needed to pull it off.

The initial response from sharing the first song “Pesos” with friends and family was overwhelming, and the Long time rap collaborators made the decision to start something brand new. Since then, the group has completed a full length studio album and released their first single accompanied by a fresh music video. They are promoting heavy and creating new music, while generating a highly dedicated fanbase. Their First LP self-titled “STRESS NADA” is set to release July 23rd, 2021 on Nitro Enterprise.
