There is a strength & resilience within singer, songwriter and performer (S)TRONG that has seen him triumph where others would have failed. (S)TRONG spent the beginning of his life in an asylum camp in Germany. When his family arrived in Germany from its Vietnamese homeland as a refugee, his entire family faced the prospect of being repatriated as rejected asylum seekers and existed under the veil of an insecure life.
After winning German and European Dance Championship in Dance4Fans and performing in front of an enthralled Britney Spears, he became a media darling and his family’s plight gained significant attention. Their immigration status was eventually resolved and in 2014 (S)TRONG enrolled in Music College Hanover to pursue his childhood passion for music.
In 2015 on a family holiday back to Vietnam, he spontaneously took part at Vietnam Idol where he took out first prize as German Hot Boy. Striking while the iron was white hot, (S)TRONG relocated to Ho Chi Minh City to purse his dream and began releasing music. Blending Hip Hop, Trap & K-Pop he has gone on to release an astonishing array of many singles and 3 EPs.
(S)TRONG’s over 3.5 million followers on social media and him joining the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 German Finale after 5 failing submissions are proof that he cannot be broken no matter the obstacles that he faces.
