Stuart Duff Lister has always written songs—quietly, persistently, without ever letting go. Raised on acoustic guitars and smoky bar gigs across 1990s Canada, he formed the band Lister with his brother, playing relentlessly and collaborating with names like Myles Goodwyn (April Wine)—though that album never saw release. Despite an unpredictable industry, they scored regional radio play and TV syncs (Dawson’s Creek, Party of Five).

After years focused on family and work, Stuart returns in 2024 with fresh demos and a renewed vision. Reconnected through Todd Sullivan (former Virgin/Geffen A&R), he flew to L.A. and entered the studio with @Battleme. The result? A sound rooted in Laurel Canyon’s golden era but shaped for now—soaring melodies, poetic lyrics, and warm, piano-driven grooves.

This new EP marks the return of a songwriter who transforms life’s wear and tear into songs that shimmer with hope, experience, and soul.
