Stuart King started out by changing the musical landscape of his Jersey homeland, and decades later has gone on to make a very real impact on the global scene. In 2018, he is as busy and relevant as ever, and continues to serve up fresh house sounds on vital contemporary labels. As a DJ his sets are electrifying affairs that take him to the leading clubs and festivals round the world, and make Stuart King an essential voice in the on-going house conversation.

As a producer his style is always subtly evolving, with the likes of Sasha and Digweed caning his cuts as far back as the 1990s. To this day, those influential selectors still reach for his tunes, most recently the likes of ‘Chanjira’ on High Tide Recordings, which got big Radio 1 support and reminded the world of Stuart’s slick studio skills. That single came hot on the heels of Late Night Obsession, his latest solo artist album and one that quickly climbed to the Number 2 spot on the UK iTunes Electronic Chart. Across the course of the album, various compelling house styles are touched upon and the whole thing plays out like a real musical journey with many different chapters.
As such he has been a key resident at clubs like the world famous Warung in Brazil—where he continues to play every year—as well as Privilege and Space in Ibiza. At these places, and many others around the world, he lays down his own compelling brand of house which is deep, hypnotic and magically melodic.
