Stuart Veitch is a 16 year old singer/songwriter. He has always had a passion for music and from an early age he has enjoyed writing songs about events that happen in his life. Songwriting is very important to him and write songs as a way to process his feelings.
In the last few years, he has been lucky enough to perform at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 4 times and at the Aberdeen Beach Ballroom.
He has also made it to the top 30 of an international songwriting competition and then got 3rd when he entered the following year.
He writes the lyrics and melody for all his songs and plays all the instruments in them (including plays guitar, piano, violin and bass). ‘We Can’t Fly’ was his first professional single which was produced by Mark Tindell from Open Eyes Production. It made it into the Top 40 of the singer songwriter iTunes charts and helped Stuart to begin his music career.
He then released his second single ‘A Long Way Home’ in March of 2023 and he looks forward to releasing his newest single ‘Our Favourite Song’ at the end of November which he wrote about growing up and being scared of change.
He continues to work on new songs and hopes to keep on releasing more music in the future.
