Stupid Rock were formed in 2015 by <a href="spotify:artist:3deCzIC4KopYinCEQ6shDg" data-name="Hank Dynamo">Hank Dynamo</a> of <a href="spotify:artist:7tyKvhpn7QKVA6HVP6CKrO" data-name="Pinball">Pinball</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:0PcxMDW7CiOeTGr7RCXo1u" data-name="D.J.M.">D.J.M.</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:3uj9OSWAUlkpHKL77TICxa" data-name="Jane Moore">Jane Moore</a>, with Durf Al Gumby later joining in 2016.
Although the group disbanded in 2018, due to <a href="spotify:artist:3deCzIC4KopYinCEQ6shDg" data-name="Hank Dynamo">Hank Dynamo</a> departing to create <a href="spotify:artist:0ie44qYOVyG9qUdTv9uv08" data-name="The Dynamos">The Dynamos</a>, the group still gets back together every few years or so to record a new EP or album, such as <a href="spotify:album:4FQIo51dod68sKCcm5D7Bw" data-name="A Very Stupid Christmas!">A Very Stupid Christmas!</a> in 2021 and <a href="spotify:album:1aClwFf3IkBA0Y1nH13SLw" data-name="Butt, fArT, PP, Boobs">Butt, fArT, PP, Boobs</a> in 2022.
