The two became friends late in their high school years after awkwardly attending a high school prom together, playing Pokémon Go in their neighborhood, and eating at the dining hall several times.
The duo created a master plan of becoming DJs in order to get into frat parties (they were both very ugly and had zero connections). They took to the community, taking any gig they could find in hopes of saving up for better gear. This included 40 year old birthday parties, sweet 16's, and the absolute messiest bachelorette parties you've ever seen.
In 2021, the two accidentally went viral on TikTok by creating 'Silly Slappers', a term coined by Jerry himself. By remixing popular songs into horrid amalgamations of pop culture noises, they quickly grew their brand in a truly unremarkable way. You may recognize some of their most popular hits playing through your broccoli-haired brother's iPhone at full volume.
Having pigeon-holed themselves into the world of jokes and gaffs, they now seek to prove to everyone that they are more than just clowns! They CAN produce music that is actually audible!
By some miracle, they garnered over 1 million streams in 2023. Nobody is quite sure how this happened. Matt has been working regularly to create more house and dance focused tunes that will hopefully come out once he gets out of his own head. Look out for more tunes in 2024!
