The American born performer and recording artist, Stylez, boasts an alchemical sound that transmutes contrasting genres into proverbial gold.
Originally from Leavenworth, Kansas, Stylez derived his inspiration from a musical diet of equal parts Rock & Roll and Rap, taking inspiration from Zach De La Rocha (Rage Against the Machine), Jay-Z, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Wu Tang, and Run the Jewels.
Establishing a permanent foothold in Kansas City, Missouri in 2004, Stylez endeavored to add his own perspective to the burgeoning Kansas City music scene by releasing a multitude of singles and collaborations with local Mid-Western artists Tech N9ne, JL B. Hood, Joey Cool, J-Izzie, and The Abnorm. This effort culminated in the release of his first album, Stories of Stylez in 2013 followed by Area 51 (2015) and Fried Dumplings and Duck Sauce (2015), 4th Dimension (2019), and his new single, Fvck It (2021). Amid the drop of his most recent album, Stylez opened for the likes of Machine Gun Kelly, Devin The Dude, and The Cool Kids. He has since spearheaded a myriad of creative projects including fashion photography, music production, and directing both music videos and short films.
Much like the city which fostered his talent, Stylez is an eclectic musician who utilizes his intrinsic duality to combine esoteric trap instrumentals and a crisp, unabashed flow into an enterprising sound all his own.
