London based disco pop antagonists Subliminal Girls formed when the NME was still a paper and nightclubs ran Thursday night indie clubs with pound a pint deals. Signed to Weekender Records they released Burn Koko and Hungry Like The Wolf later collaborating with artist Stuart Semple to release Self Obsession Is an Artform. A long hiatus followed before a reformation in 2018 and a new record, Vanity Project, planned for 2019.
