Born and raised between Italy and Austria, DJ and producer <a href="spotify:artist:6CQXt8ky5LYUbahKIRzeZC" data-name="Subsurface">Subsurface</a> gained notoriety in the European dance music scene with releases on Dim Mak, Trap City and KARDO Records. With appearances at Electric Love Festival, BCM Mallorca, Noa Beach Club, countless shows across Europe and South America and almost 30 million streams, he is among the most successful DJs in the Italian-Austrian region. What originally started as a duo has been continued by the producer alone since 2024, who has received support from <a href="spotify:artist:69GGBxA162lTqCwzJG5jLp" data-name="The Chainsmokers">The Chainsmokers</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:60d24wfXkVzDSfLS6hyCjZ" data-name="Martin Garrix">Martin Garrix</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:77AiFEVeAVj2ORpC85QVJs" data-name="Steve Aoki">Steve Aoki</a> and others.
In late 2015 the duo had their breakthrough on Moshbit Records with their first single 'Mr. Magician' (feat. <a href="spotify:artist:7HhwoWGx2DxP9TM33G1Ca8" data-name="Leanne Louise">Leanne Louise</a>). Before starting 2017 with their first gig outside Europe in Peru, they released a remix of 'Paris' by The Chainsmokers which was featured on Trap City. Other remixes and originals followed with a total amount of more than 30 Million streams on all platforms and support by international DJs and radio stations. A few years later they have performed in several different countries having a full schedule with over 50 shows per year.
In 2021 Subsurface decided to step away from common DJ Sets and started including live vocals and acoustic elements in their live performances. Since going solo in early 2024, Subsurface has announced to focus on releases featuring his own vocals in the future.
