Randolph Blake, also known as Suess, is an emerging, independent artist from Broward County, Florida, with Panamanian roots and has been writing and performing for more than twelve years. His stage name, Suess, was inspired by, but spelled differently than the historically classic, Dr. Seuss, known for his whimsical rhymes and rhythm. With a love for R&B music, Suess was inspired by the track, “My Boo,” by Usher featuring Alicia Keys, and decided to pursue singing and recorded his vocals in a makeshift studio. He later realized he enjoyed the process of harmonizing and rapping and decided to continue his pursuit down this path
In 2007, Suess released his first mixtape, “Bout Dat Life,'' on one of the largest independent artist platforms, DatPiff. His craft and track list began to grow as he released one of his hits, “Desire,” in 2011. Following this release, in 2012, Suess released “Jackin’ For Beats: Volume One” on SoundCloud, another large music streaming platform. Suess’ most streamed song, “M4H” (Murder for Hire), sparked his hunger of continuing as an independent artist and entertaining his newly acquired and lifelong fans. His next project "Kings Kulture" is set to be released April 16, 2021
