Sugar Relics

Sugar Relics is an American ElectroPop project based in Los Angeles. The dark lyrics and haunting hooks are powerfully delivered by lead vocalist Laura Serafine. Drawing influence from several genres, Sugar Relics blends sounds together to create their dreamy, macabre sound.

The duo is the brain child of Laura Serafine, a longtime singer songwriter and vocalist originally from San Antonio, TX, but residing in LA for the last 15 years. Laura writes the music and lyrics, and is the vocalist for the project.

The project focuses heavily on moody, ethereal imagery and soundscapes, wrapped in catchy hooks and addicting beats to create a unique electro pop sound.

Due to the COVID19 Pandemic, Sugar Relics is not playing live at this time to respect the safety of everyone. Prior to the pandemic, they played most recently at Bar Lubitsch in WeHo, and several places around Los Angeles.

The live shows are accompanied by lighting effects and quiet a cappella moments which make for a captivating experience. Acoustic shows are also occasionally played with just Laura and the piano performing stripped down versions of the songs which provide a whole different experience and vibe.
