Born in Nevsehir 1958, Süha Rami began learning on his own to play the acoustic guitar when he was 18, trying to figure out Paul Simon, Cat Stevens, and The Beatles songs from casette tapes. Wrote his first songs couple of years later, while also both an attentive listener to western art music and an admirer of traditional turkish artists like Neşet Ertaş and Dede Efendi. Though he studied electronics at the METU, he now refers to maths, physics etc. as “utterly real but so untrue”; and that was after he got carried away by certain poetry at age 50. His book titled “Rilke’s Duino Elegies, Hölderlin’s Hymns, Heidegger’s Elucidations to Poetry” was published in 2014 by Ekslibris. Recent years he has been fond of studying the ancient greek language on his own and listening to Haydn symphonies, especially those conducted by Antonini. The idea of producing an album comprising ten of his love songs goes back to year 2016 when he first met Ahmet Kenan Bilgiç who is the producer of his debut album "On Şarkı".
