Sukatani

Sukatani, the name is firstly emerge in Purbalingga in the beginning of October 2022. Sukatani, it’s a typical name of a very beautiful and wealthy village as it’s values are manifestated by this band. Sukatani was very first departed from the vocalist’s musical desire named Ovi a.k.a. ‘Twister Angel’. She’s a member of band from Purwokerto since 2013 which is still active untill nowdays. In the midst of her activity as a labor and as a vocalist of her band, Twister Angel tried to channel her unstoppable musical desire through writing some lyrics which are mostly inspired by her ‘uncomfortness’ towards social distortion in her peripheral. After that, she deliver her lyrics to her partner called AI a.k.a. ‘Alectroguy’ in order to respond those materials. In compounding various elements to produce Sukatani’s songs, they’re mostly influenced by severals 80’s Street-Punk bands and some of bands from the early wave of Proto-Punk. Twister Angel and Alectroguy has no other helpful person in charging and filling some instrument’s section. Thus, they get around in the way of digital studio strategy to produce instrument drumming and bass digital-drawing by Alectroguy, where guitar is filled by Alectroguy it self and Twister Angel fill the vocal and shout. This kind of context has provoked them to fill severals elements of synthesizer into Sukatani’s instrument, till they can’t even refused that they just give the birth to the fusion of Street Punk and Electronic Music.
