Sullen is not for the faint of heart, a project helmed by Harmony Weber has come to fruition in the form of a 4 piece band alongside bandmates Taylor Finnigan, Trevor Cooke and Jack Yanover. Their sound is one of precise dynamics, and combines flowing, melodic shoe-gaze-inflected grunge and emo textures. Weber's often heart-wrenching lyrics revolve around navigating the hardships of young adulthood; relationships, mental health, gender identity, and sobriety. Having formed in early 2023, these songs have been slowly simmering in Weber's notepad for the past 6 or so years, and paint a resolutely dark but hopeful picture.
