Born in Figueres, Sumluv is an electronic music duo based in Barcelona. Their first works are based on sampling records using classic machines and sequencers from 90s.
In February 2017 they release "Ascend" (Self-Release), and after several singles Sumluv debuted with their first EP "Silk Holds Everything" (Beautiful Accident, 2019). This project placed them into the national electronic scene, described by the media as “electronic music loaded with glam, as captivating as it’s deep”.
In 2020, they return again with "Balance EP" (Faneca Music), formed by three instrumental tracks and a remix by the barcelonian producer <a href="spotify:artist:0l8zZZXgZJ11aGj4P2psXu" data-name="Sau Poler">Sau Poler</a>. This release is more focused on the club than ever, with the DNA that characterizes the duo from the beginning.
"Overthink" (Faneca Music) is the name of their latest release, described by the duo as a track that continues the saga of "Balance EP" but with new textures and influences. Also comes with two remixes from UK producers <a href="spotify:artist:2pQj31A8LgfwBTGmhHdRXa" data-name="Lawrence Hart">Lawrence Hart</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:6yvENIf7GmNwYnspB8UCpB" data-name="Otik">Otik</a>.
The production process of the duo is focused on the live shows, where we see their real potential and intentions: make people dance without losing the introspective part of their speech.
