Composed of members who are juxtaposed as much as the name implies, the genesis of Summit Valley began the infamous year of 2020 in Arlington, Texas between college friends Niki Joans and Rio Eastman. Inspired by a shared vision and mutual musical interests, the duo started writing songs and never looked back. It was during a summer vacation in July of 2020 at the beach that Rio met Jayd Cecilia through mutual high school friends. In April of 2021, as if guided by the winds of fate, Niki met Luke Saint Laurens during a hike to the top of a spot known locally as Stoner’s Peak. With the quartet assembled, the group hit the ground running rehearsing and performing all around DFW. In June of 2023, Summit Valley released their debut EP “Eccentric” but there is certainly more to come.
