Sun Below

Sun Below is a heavy stoner/doom power trio from the GTA. Playing a signature brand of self-described Sativa rock, a combination of fuzz, volume, and heavy grooves, Sun Below seek to spread their infectious, rollicking sound to the masses.

The band’s mission remains to create riff heavy rock fused with the sonic weight of crushing doom, and the current lineup of Jason Craig (guitars/vocals), Liam “Acid Goblin” Gray (bass) and Will Adams (drums) blend these elements into long burning jams that worship at the altar of tone, riffs, and smoke. The band continue to explore new sonic horizons that meld psychedelic improvisation and raw bombast to keep the energy up high. Inviting their listeners to get into the groove and the headspace of the music, Sun Below is the perfect combination of a mellow trip with an energetic Sativa boost.

Following the release of their full length self-titled album in November of 2021, Sun Below continue to traverse their smoke laden holy path, reintegrating into the live music scene and in new material exploring themes of cosmic forces, ancient sativa strains, tide manipulation, and resurrection from eternal sleep. As the Red Giant rises and looms above, the relationship between the Earth and Sun promises a seismic collaboration waiting to be released on the masses in 2023 – Inter Terra Solis.
