Sunbeam42 is an American music producer. She primarily creates ambient/new age and experimental music. Thus far in her career, she has released nine albums and two EPs. Her music combines elements of mysticism, fantasy, nature, and experimentation. It is her belief that there is much more to the ambient genre than is commonly thought, and she aims to make her contributions to the genre equal parts relaxing, contemplative, and fun. Music is an intensely spiritual experience for her, and is one of the best ways for her to express her inner world and soul memories. She wishes to give her listeners more insight about themselves and their interconnectedness with others while listening to her music. She is also a visual artist and all of her album art is created by her. In the future, she plans to make music in more genres.
