I create organic, laid-back grooves from my cozy little home studio, blending the warmth of live instrumentation with the precision of electronic production. Drawing upon my roots as a guitarist in a previous musical life, I try to bring a fresh perspective to electronic music. My approach to music production incorporates a fusion of live recordings, sampling, programmed beats, and the use of vintage tape machines. I find myself creating music with a lo-fi, sun-kissed aesthetic which flutters between deep house, nu-disco, downtempo, and acid jazz.
It’s certainly dance music, but filtered through memory, nostalgia, and the feeling of staying out in the sun just a little longer…
