Sunday Eve formed in Bandung in 2023. Influenced by the British pop-rock scene of the '60s, they channel it into indie rock (you could say) with a nostalgic twist. Their debut single, Close Friend, is a self-produced track about the bittersweet acceptance of a situationship, that moment of realizing things won’t go beyond friendship but still choosing to stick around: "I will accept your decision even if it's just a close friend."
