Labelled by fans as ‘Kierkegaardian Space Prog’, SUNLESS DAWN is a meteor of progressive metal drifting through the cosmos. Their unique brand of grandiose progressive death metal takes listeners on a powerful melodic journey through dense, technical and melancholic soundscapes.

SUNLESS DAWN has now drawn international critical acclaim and extremely positive reception from the progressive metal scene with their 2018 debut 'Timeweaver'. The hour-long behemoth exudes grandeur, mysticism, sophistication and brutality. It explores immense riffs and cryptic rhythms, with a triumphant, menacing growl, backed by sweeping soundscapes and a haunting choir. Lyrically, 'Timeweaver' explores contemporary topics from reflections on human nature to the dilemmas of technological advancement.

Despite being a relatively new arrival in the progressive metal scene, SUNLESS DAWN have taken their hard-hitting live performances to venues across Denmark and drawn large crowds with acclaimed sets at international metal festivals such as Euroblast Festival and Wacken Open Air, playing alongside bands such as Katatonia, Between the Buried and Me, Ihsahn, Obscura, among many others.
