Kyle MacNeil (sunny court) is an alternative artist from the small town of Ottawa, Canada. With a multi-genre influence and an interest in exploring sounds, at age 14 sunny court began writing original songs on his guitar. Being brought up in a musical family, sunny court was encouraged to develop his vocal and songwriting talents.

Passionate and driven in late 2020, sunny court developed a love for sound design and production. Over the past few years, sunny has quickly developed his skills with advice from fellow music producers and inspired by the groundbreaking techniques of willian crooks, SOPHIE, umru, and Skrillex.

His fixation to explore the infinite modes of achieving emotional catharsis through sound has led sunny to produce tracks that don’t normally fit neatly into genres. From the energetic and intimate track “july”, to the vulnerable and melancholy track “FRIENDS”, sunny court’s range hits multiple genres and vibes. His production style of punchy drums, unique guitar tones, and fierce synths are featured heavily in his latest upcoming collaboration “Elegy” with alt-pop artist Apollo Rising.
