Sunny Cowell is a singer, songwriter, and musician (guitar, viola) based in the Baltimore-Washington D.C. region. Sunny’s music is a mix of well-crafted Pop and R&B paired with catchy melodies, beats, multi-harmony vocals, acoustic instruments, a soulful lead vocal, and heartfelt lyrics (stylistically Jill Scott meets Sara Bareilles). In 2022 Sunny released her debut LP Anthology of Love. The 10-song project explores the theme of learning to love oneself while coping with anxiety as one navigates different types of relationships. A subtle exploration of mental health challenges, how they manifest in the way we view ourselves and love others is a gratifying, yet unexpected challenge for a pop album like Sunny’s. Sunny releases new singles regularly.
