Sunset Derek

Being in love with music his whole life, Giorgos Derekopoulos joined the Club scene, in 2004, as a DJ and became known as Sunset Derek.
As a teenager ,the musical influences that he received at that time, and in particular the ’90s, along with his passion for collecting vinyl’s, cassette’s and cd’s from HipHop,Rock,Metal,Rave,Trance,House worked catalytically.
Sunset Derek was motivated to further his Dj career he started experimenting with his own music production and in 2010 his first official release comes out from The Sound Of Everything records . Then he collaborates with Royal Events and paves the way for weekly parties in several hot venues of Athens at that time and with a lot’s of guest performances all over the Greece and Cyprus.
2022 was great for him with 50 events in many places of Greece with peaks in Mykonos at Void club along with Alec Monopoly and in Limassol,Cyprus at LMF festival with 8.000 people.
2023 is even better for him.Νew banger track "Elevate" from global Go Deeva records featuring a talent guy T.Georgoudis with support from Armen Miran,Steve Bug,Kate Zubok and many more..In the summer he did 60 events in almost all of Greece and Cyprus and 3 great residencies at 3 Top club/bars in Athens (Juan Rodriguez,Noah,Bless Me Father)
Now 2024/25 finds him even stronger with even more events and going to play in America for the first time in Chicago.
