SUPRIYO DUTTA , considered as a young maestro of Hindustani Vocal Classical music . He has performed extensively in India as well as in the United States of America, Australia and Europe. To name a few Woodford Festival, Australia . NABC ( North American Bengali Conference ) , Filarmonica Romana in Rome and many others.
He was a National scholar under ministry of culture as a student, a recipient of Gold Medal from the Governor and has bagged many other awards till now. In recent under his direction “Ustad Amir Khan-the path breaking modernist” has been awarded the Calcutta Cult Film festival award . He is also a featured artist of ICCR , Doordarshan and Radio.
He has many Albums and Digital releases in his credits both in classical music and collaboration with various international artists.
As an able crusader of Indian classical music he has also been invited by many universities and schools for lecture demonstration and workshop in abroad as well. Overall He is well recognized both as an effective performer and educator of indian classical vocal music.


A disciple of late Pandit Ramakrishna Basu of the Indore Gharana, Supriyo was also fortunate enough to receive guidance from Pandit Ajoy Chakraborty. Currently he is under the able guidance of Vidushi Subhra Guha and Padmashri Pandit Vijay Kichlu. Beside singing Khayal and Thumri/Dadra Supriyo also performs semi classical devotional music like Bhajans and Sufi songs.
