Surf Manchu, Scotland’s premier instrumental surf rock band, is the stuff that California dreams are made of. As soon as the entirely original set of reverb-drenched strains crash over the audience, they’re instantly deposited onto a beach during the height of sixties surf culture.
Made up of four Scottish surf rock enthusiasts – Andy on bass, Stephen on keys, Martin on guitar and Ian on drums – the band has been bringing a bit of the LA sunshine to the pubs and clubs of Scotland for 3 years.
