Spaceadelic Pot-Prog Desert-Jazz Bong-Rock for those who enjoy couch-lock and unabashed psychedelia and a tribute to the empire of hallucinogens.
A loud, heavy hemisphere of starry eyed jams, weed-soaked improv of favorites & standards draped over explorative space-rock fusion, from palm-muted power chords to open air west coast chill and hard bop ska-guitar mania, SFG brings a wide array of desert band influences and styles.
Primal examples of musical collaborations with accompanying sonic explorations of familiar materials, all earthbound from the cosmos, drenched in herbal odors and smoke filled receptacles, harking a throwback to the Progressive Rock and Jam Band cultures, mixed in with said strange and unusual places to create an atmosphere of improvisational art, surrounded by large amplifiers, loud bass guitars, thunderous drums and a swirling homage to genre-bending jam sessions of dizzying psychedelia and metallic mayhem.
