Surveen is a rising pop R&B singer originally from Houston, TX. Growing up with the arts pulsing through her veins, from ballet to theater, and singing for as long as she can remember, she eventually caught the eye of Perez Hilton, when she hopped up on stage and performed next to him at his SXSW showcase in Austin, TX and was later featured on his website. With just one EP released, Surveen has already achieved much acclaim. Her song "Be for Me" and artist profile were recently featured in a national ad campaign for a leading design app, Canva. She has teamed up with talented up-and-coming producers and engineers for her projects, including Houston's own Bruce Bang, LeeLonn, and Bobby Earth, using her powerful, distinctive and versatile voice to create a sound that is both sweet and soulful, and pulling from inspiration of 90s female R&B, indie pop, and artists like Ariana Grande and Gwen Stefani.
