Suzanne Little

Canadian Singer Songwriter, active in 1990's. Suzanne Little has been noted as “ a pioneer in the Do It Yourself Movement of women in pop music.” She wrote and produced two albums with Michele Gould for their band Lava Hay and one album as a solo artist. Her songs are featured in movie and TV soundtracks.
She stopped touring in the late 1990's to raise her children on a small island off the west coast of British Columbia. She continued to perform with her family throughout the years, and performed again as Lava Hay in 2019. Plans to tour more extensively were halted by the pandemic.

In 2013 she founded a digital marketing agency, combining her background in Journalism with a desire to help ethical businesses, makers and artists get their stories out into the world. She has helped a number of prominent Canadians share their messages, and continues to support small to medium businesses and non-profits achieve their goals.

Her sons Owen Hooper & Shane Hooper are active as musical artists Mouth Breather & Acapulco Gold.
