Over the past year Svart Ridå has been praised by, among others, Popmani, Hymn, Gaffa, and Sydsvenskan – both for their dark indie pop and their explosive live performances that attract an increasingly larger audience. With the release of their debut album, the duo has become a trio, and the sound has evolved into a more guitar-based style, with noticeable influences from both the grunge wave of the 90s and the freer pop music of the 70s. On the album, we hear a band that dares to confront the truly intense emotions.
