Swæy

Praise Nkosinathi Ntimane known professionally as “Swæy”, was born & raised at Gauteng Johannesburg, Swæy was mostly referred to as “Woo Baby”! He got into music from singing in a church choir age 10, later age 11 he would be addicted to gambling, which led to his first confrontation with the police. 2022 Swæy recorded his first song on a phone & titled it "My Nigga" later would drop it on YouTube which led to his exposure to the media and the music scene.

At age 15, he started song writing & went on to drop his music on SoundCloud before deleting his SoundCloud discography, 2023.
He started getting serious with music late 2024; after the launch of his independent Record label;
X Convict Inc (Woo Entertainment).

During this period, Swæy focused on sharpening his craft behind the scenes, spending long nights experimenting with sounds, flows & writing habits, building discipline and confidence while learning the business side of music independently.

Swæy is known as a versatile artist who switches his sound to fit in various genres; commonly known for his aggressive stereo style n melodic drill style, he'd drill on aggressive instrumentations taking part on the forefront SA “drill” scene with aggressive lyrics & a unique style approach, mostly influenced by Pop Smoke. Currently exploring R&B instrumentations, Swæy fonds to grow into a much bigger icon in the music industry; with a captive low-key voice.
