On her long-awaited debut album Underneath My Façade Dutch Alternative R&B singer, songwriter and producer Swan fearlessly explores the concealed emotions we usually keep hidden beneath the surface; not afraid to delve into uncomfortable or highly personal subjects.
Swan distinguishes herself with a blunt yet poetic songwriting style, refined harmonies and groovy production. In 2023 she opened for Jeangu Macrooy and legendary soul singer Gladys Knight at the Royal Theatre Carré in Amsterdam. In 2024 she opened for Pete Philly & Perquisite on their European tour and played at the renowned North Sea Jazz festival. 'Underneath My Façade' was produced by Swan and Perquisite with guest productions by American producers Jesse Singer & Chris Soper (on Mud) and British producer Ankit Suri (on Hometown).
