Combining the massive hooks of mid-90s Cool Britannia, with a crunch and rhythm rooted in bouncy pop-rock, this fresh four piece offers songs that are catchy, pack a punch, and hark back to the glory days of the British indie guitar music driven by Blur and Oasis. Sweet Mischief’s debut singles will be released this June and will be instant earworms for anyone who hears them.

The band began when singer and Britpop dreamer Tony Sweet got chatting to guitarist and painted-nails hardcore kid Dave Musson (ex-WAVE) at their kids’ school drop off. The duo soon began collaborating, quickly writing their first album in a creative burst of energy. Next, they joined forces with pounding drummer Chris Piper (ex-Kyoto Drive) and bass maestro Ant Freeman in early 2025. The band instantly gelled, bonding over a set of accomplished songs mixed with a drive to make original indie rock music and share it widely. Now, they’re ready to announce themselves to the world and encourage fans to bang their heads, bounce around and sing along.
