Sweet Sister is a young and hungry hard rock band based in Portland, OR. Fuelled by the great hard rock and metal acts of the late 1960s through the ‘80s, this band manages to channel the very best elements of Guns N’ Roses, AC/DC, Van Halen, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, Mötley Crüe, and many more, while still infusing their songs with their own unique styles and influences. Sweet Sister’s live shows are guaranteed to bring you right back to the hedonistic, carefree heyday of rock-n-roll while also providing you with a musical and sensory experience like no other.
Sweet Sister was originally formed in late 2017, but went through several personnel changes before arriving at their current and better-than-ever lineup. The band now consists of lead singer Oliver Benner, lead guitarist Andrew Heard, bassist Luke Coverdale, and drummer Cameron Meister. Back on track and better than ever, Sweet Sister is now focused on recording their debut EP, writing new music, playing local shows, and organizing a West Coast tour for the summer of 2019. This band has been through plenty of ups and downs since its inception, but the one thing that’s never in doubt is that Sweet Sister is here to stay, and will stop at nothing to make it to the top. Rock n’ roll ain’t dead - it’s just getting started!
